Well isn't that cute. I knew there was something wrong about the people in New Jersy.

There's nothing wrong with the people from New Jersey, just the people who judge without knowing.

I'm from New Jersey, and you follow my blog. I don't quite get the logic behind that if you feel this way. I would hope that you'd be more intelligent than believing some stupid stereotype. I'm disappointed, really.

Keep a look out, Joe! I'm heading your way very shortly!

I know you are from New Jersey but I didn't know it's a touchy subject. I promise to not make any more jokes about New Jersey here.

Well, there's one reason to carry a giant sword in your car. :)

Hey, if you're on Twitter, could you please let me know what your username is? I'm assembling a "blog buddies" list on there.

It gets tiring to hear people make negative comments about NJ and its people. I have to listen to "jokes" about how NJ is nothing but a toxic waste dump, that all women from Jersey are loud mouthed whores, I get asked what highway exit I live off from...the list goes on.

The thing is, I live in a beautiful small town community near the ocean that is swamped every summer by Bennys who come here on vacation, act like idiots, and treat my area like their own personal dump. They're loud, arrogant, and rude. These people are NOT originally from NJ, they only came here to get out of the city. It's TV shows like The Sopranos, The Jersey Shore, and The Real Housewives of NJ that reinforce the negative stereotypes. Truthfully most of THOSE people are from Staten Island! (Where the real toxic waste dump is!)

People like me, who have to deal with this crap all day long are sick of it. It's just old already. I apologize for the rant. If you walked a mile in my shoes you'd appreciate my stance on the topic.

Hey Justine, I have a Twitter, but don't really use it. I just don't have the time to use it along with all of the other social networking sites effectively. I use Facebook, and also have a Google+ account. But I've let my Myspace and Twitter sit idle. Thanks for the offer though. Maybe you could still list my blog on your Twitter?

Yeah, social networking does take a lot of time! I just focus on Blogger and Twitter, but even those two are time consuming. I'm not sure how I would fit Facebook into my life if I used that too!

The Twitter list I was putting together is just a way of organizing people's tweets. So, the purpose was to see links to blog updates from blog friends as they're tweeted. If there's ever another way to add your blog to that twitter stream, I'll add you. :)

Ah, I see. Well thanks! I might start using Twitter again once my book is closer to publication. Hey, do you have Google+? If you'd like an invite, email me at zombie.diva@yahoo.com
